Back to School Blessing!

Fr. Justin Slaughter Doty joined students, teachers and families for our annual school blessing service. Together, we said prayers asking for the intercessions of St. George to protect, bless and encourage our students and teachers, guiding them in their schoolwork and all that they encounter in the coming year.  Everyone then processed throughout the classrooms and then across campus to our Upper School chanting the troparion to our patron saint.

As deliverer of captives, and defender of the poor. Healer of the infirm, champion of kings. Victorious Great Martyr George, intercede with Christ our God, for our soul’s salvation.

Wishing everyone the blessings of a new school year!
